Chantilly - Ecouen - Saint Denis

The horse racing capital of France, Chantilly offers a classy combination of Château, parks and forest that has long made it a popular tour. The Duke of Aumale, the last private owner, collects art treasures to form « Le Musée Condé » , The Park and The Gardens were designed by Le Nôtre (look at the axis), you will fly in the Aerophile, the largest balloon in the world (32 meters high).

Climb up to 150 meters (450 feet), in the totally safe gondola, free of bumps and noises. Unique in the world, the balloon is connected by a cable to a grounded winch. In a glance, your eyes will catch the monuments and landscapes of the Chantilly estate. The magnificent stables « les Grandes Ecuries » are occupied by « The Living Horse Museum»

Ecouen, like Chantilly, was owned by The Prince of Condé, has become today the national Museum of the Renaissance style, the place where you can have the most complete view of this era. The largest tapestry of the 16th century “David and Bethsabee” (75 meters long, 4 meters high).

The Basilica of Saint Denis, from the king Dagobert 1st’s burial, is a Royal Mausoleum (existing for twelve centuries). Most of the French Kings and all its Queens were entombed in Saint Denis.
